About the Owner
Jason McCall is a native Texan with a lifelong passion for motorsports that ignited in high school in the North Dallas area with his first car, a classic ‘72 Camaro RS. His automotive journey truly flourished during college at Texas A&M University, where he joined the university-sponsored Sports Car Club (TAMSCC). There, he sharpened his skills in autocross, track days, and high-performance driving events.
A seasoned competitor in SCCA Solo National events, Jason has driven an impressive array of vehicles, including a Subaru STi, Mazda RX-8, Mitsubishi Evo, MX-5 Miata, and BMW 318is. His deep affinity for American muscle cars led him to immerse himself in the National F-Body community, where he owned and tracked multiple 3rd- and 4th-generation Camaros and Firebirds.
His racing pursuits evolved into endurance road racing through series like ChampCar and WRL. Teaming up with college buddies under the Pontini Racing banner, they built and campaigned a formidable 1998 Firebird, competing and podiuming in events at tracks like COTA, Harris Hill, TWS (RIP), NOLA, MSR-Houston, Cresson, and Eagles Canyon.
Today, Jason continues to race actively with Pontini Racing in a 2014 Subaru BRZ, while also tackling time trials and gearing up for the Big Bend Open Road Race in his modified 2004 CTS-V, affectionately known as “Badillac”.
Boasting more than two decades of hands-on experience in wrenching, racing, and nurturing car communities, Jason is now channeling his expertise into creating a secure, fully equipped haven for fellow enthusiasts at E3 McKinney Motor Club. His vision is to build a premier facility where members can store, restore, maintain, and relax with their prized vehicles in fellowship with a community of gearheads —a true clubhouse and home for automotive passionate people.
